Today is the 28th birthday of the outstanding rapper, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur. Mark Yien Tuan was born into a Taiwanese-American family and spent his formative years in Los Angeles, California, before traveling to Paraguay and Brazil for a few years to train as a K-pop idol. In elementary school, he studied violin and piano classes before switching to guitar in junior high. JYP Entertainment offered him an audition because of his striking good looks and musical talent.
