TV actress Alka Kaushal and her mom sent to jail

In a rather shocking development, media has reported about actress Alka Kaushal and her mom being sent to two years jail on charges of money laundering. Alka (Qubool Hai, Santoshi Maa, Bajrangi Bhaijaan) has been sentenced by a district court in Punjab. She has been accused of not returning around Rs 50 lakh to acquaintance. She has been blamed of money laundering and theft as her two cheques of Rs 25 lakh each bounced at the banks.
