When Gulzar revealed that Sare Jahan Se Achcha Was Composed By Ravi Shankar

Not too many know this. But the music for India's favourite patriotic song 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha' is composed by (late) Pandit Ravi Shankar! In an interview by me conducted several years ago Gulzar Saab had revealed, "Of course 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha', which every Indian in every part of the world hums, is composed by (late) Pandit Ravi Shankar.
