On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi complimented Praveen Kumar on his silver medal performance in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 men's high jump T44 final event. Praveen Kumar claimed the gold medal after breaking his personal best and setting a new Asian record with a high jump of 2.07 metres.
