The Paralympic Games were organized by Sir Ludwig Guttmann who was a Jewish doctor who migrated to London as the Nazis grew to power. The first edition of the Stoke Mandeville Games was held on 29 July 1948 and the name was later changed to the Paralympic Games which first took place in Rome, Italy in 1960. India's Bhavina Patel has stormed into the final of the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 in the Table Tennis category after she won against China's Miao Zhang 3-2 in a Class 4 semi-final game. She managed to stun her Chinese opponent 7-11 11-7 11-4 9-11 11-8 in the semifinal showdown that lasted 34 minutes. The big finale is all set to take place tomorrow against Chinese paddler Ying Zhou.
