On August 12, the elephants at New Delhi's National Zoological Park (NZP) were given a "special treat" to commemorate World Elephant Day. "Elephants in NZP were provided special food today on the occasion of World Elephant Day," the National Zoological Park in the national capital, which is home to two Asian elephants - Laxmi and Hira - wrote on its official social media account alongside a photo of the treat and the animals.
