RIP: Olympic and Hockey World Cup medalist Varinder Singh passes away

A really sad and heartbreaking news coming in. As per the latest media reports in NDTV Sports, Hockey legend Varinder Singh is no more. Reports reveal that he passed away in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. The two-time Olympian was an integral part of Indian victories in the 70s. His stupendous achievements also include a gold medal in the 1975 Men's Hockey World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
