Big News: Yash Raj Films to launch streaming service with $67M initial investment

A major update coming in from Yash Raj Films. As per the latest reports in Variety, leading Indian studios aka Yash Raj Films is all set to enter the 'streaming' arena. Reports suggest that YRF’s streaming business (which is also known as over-the-top, or OTT) will be named YRF Entertainment. It has reportedly been set up with an initial investment of INR 5 billion ($67.1 million). Reports further add that it is primarily to operate within India, but will simultaneously cater to a global market of Indian consumers.
