It might be nerve-wracking to discover your mobile won’t switch on after spending thousands of rupees on it—especially if it’s out of warranty. Nowadays, it’s difficult to go without a functioning smartphone.
However, as enticing as it may seem to consider your cell phone dead and rush out to get a new device, we advise you to wait. To see if your iPhone or Android smartphone is still alive, do the following actions.
It could be possible that your phone is functional but has a cracked screen. Turn your phone off by pressing and holding the power button, then on again. When it turns on, see if you get a vibration.
It may seem ridiculous, but it’s possible that your phone is simply out of battery. If your phone’s battery is actually dead, try connecting it to a charger—it won’t always turn on immediately away. Before turning it on, try to leave it plugged in for a few minutes.
If that doesn’t work, your charger can be damaged. Change the cord, power bank, and wall outlet if necessary. Lint can easily become caught in the charging port, preventing the wires from coming into contact.
If you have tried switching on your phone by pressing on the power button for a long time and it still doesn’t turn on, you might have to perform a hard reset. This may differ from device to device and it would be helpful if you check on the instructions manual that comes along.
