Technology is the need of the hour. And with the massive needs of the users, this technology needs to improve and upgrade with each passing day. But this improvement in technology can also be a boon to the environment and the health of the people and other species.
These threats were brought to the notice of the world when the new 5G technology was introduced in the US near various airports. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pointed out the cons of the new technology that was introduced by telecom companies at various airports.

The faster service is ensured only after higher frequency in the spectrum and this service would only be possible when the technology is operated at a higher frequency.
According to Verizon and AT&T, the telecom companies C band 5G has been implemented in around 40 other nations without causing aircraft disturbance.

By providing a precise reading of the distance to the ground, radio altimeters help to reduce the danger of mishaps or crashes. The readouts are also utilized to help with automated landings and the detection of harmful currents known as wind-shear.
There are currently 5G wireless transmission stations in operation near airports, but no concerns have been reported. “Wireless carriers in nearly 40 countries throughout Europe and Asia now use the C-Band for 5G, with no reported effects on radio altimeters that operate in the same internationally designated 4.2-4.4 GHz band,” according to CTIA, a U.S. wireless trade group, in a filing with the Federal Communications Commission.
