At the rate at which smartphones are evolving, there is always something new on the horizon. The excitement for the next big thing begins as soon as you see the newest device. The forthcoming phones for 2023 are those that have not yet been released.
V Fold and V Flip by OnePlus
The planned release of its first foldable phone(s), will be available in the third quarter of 2023. It is reported that, like its parent company, Oppo, it would release both horizontal and vertical (flip) foldable smartphones. We don’t know much else, but it’s reasonable to presume they’ll be improved versions of the Oppo Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.
Nothing Call (2)
Carl Pei’s relatively young startup, Nothing, has revealed plans to expand, which will include the second-generation Nothing Phone. The business has also revealed that, unlike its initial model, this phone would be powered by a flagship-class processor. That will be the case in particular.
The ‘family’ of Google Pixel 7a
In an unexpected move, Amazon began accepting pre-registrations for the ‘Google Pixel 7a family’ nearly as soon as the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were released. Since then, we’ve had a better look at the entire image of this phone. It is reported to include a 6.1-inch 90Hz display, a design similar to the Pixel 7, and a twin camera system. It’s also rumored to have Google’s second-generation Tensor processor.
5th Generation Samsung Galaxy Z Fold
Speculation regarding Samsung’s next foldable flagship has already begun, and it appears that Samsung has heeded criticism and is fixing a handful of user pain issues. The wrinkle on the display is one of them. It has been reported that the future model would include a droplet curve in the display to eliminate that immediately apparent, distinct crease and to bridge the gap.
2023 Motorola Razr
According to reports, Motorola may release two Razr phone models in 2023, after the Razr 2022 from last year. So far, we’ve seen photographs leaked of a handset with a substantially bigger cover display, both digital renderings and real product shots. In fact, with the twin camera system drilled through it, the display takes up nearly all of the available area on the cover.
