In 2021, WhatsApp introduced a slew of new features, with more on the way. In recent weeks, WhatsApp has been observed developing a number of new features. Some of these features are currently being developed, while others are said to be in beta testing (which means their rollout is not so far away). WhatsApp was recently seen experimenting with Instagram Reels integration on the platform. 1.No time limit for deleting sent messages
While WhatsApp allows users to delete sent messages, there is currently a time limit of 4,096 seconds (68 minutes and 16 seconds) to do so. However, based on early testing of the app’s beta version, the business appears to be preparing to remove the restriction permanently.
2. Message reaction
It appears that you will soon be able to respond to WhatsApp messages with photographs, similar to how you can on Instagram and Facebook. WABetaInfo is said to have spotted a sneak peek of the functionality. The feature, termed message reaction, will purportedly allow users to respond to a message using a total of six emojis.
3.A new community feature
WhatsApp is working on a new community feature that could be available soon. According to reports, the feature is similar to Discord groups and channels. Admins will have more control over the app’s different components thanks to the new communities feature. Admins will be able to create various groups inside a community, similar to how Discord allows them to do.
