One of the most common reasons for your smartphone (iPhone or Android) or computer to slow down is storage fragmentation. While browsing social media, playing games, taking notes, deleting photographs and videos, and other activities, we conduct hundreds of reading/write operations to the phone memory.

Why your phone may be slowing down can be due to the following reasons –
There isn’t enough storage space on your smartphone.
There are far too many open apps or programmes.
Battery health is poor.
Using an older version of Windows
An Internet connection that isn’t always reliable
The phone has overheated.

Here are ways how you can speed up your phone and make it faster –

1. MAKE SURE YOUR CACHE IS CLEAR.

Clearing the cache of an app that is performing slowly or crashing might cure a lot of basic issues.

2. CLEAN UP THE STORAGE ON YOUR PHONE

If your phone is packed with too many infrequently used apps, the speed of your phone will suffer. Go to Settings > Storage or Settings > Battery and device care > Storage to see which apps are presently utilizing storage space on your device and uninstall those you don’t need.

3. TURN OFF LIVE WALLPAPER

While live wallpaper on your home screen may appear to be attractive, it can be a significant performance drain on your smartphone. If you’re having trouble switching between programs or exiting an app to return to the home screen, try switching back to a static wallpaper to see if it helps.

4. INSPECT IF THERE ARE ANY SOFTWARE UPDATES

Bug repairs, new features, and speed enhancements are common in software upgrades.
