Why Should These Apple Users Upgrade Their Zoom App Right Now?

Check out now on why Apple users should upgrade their zoom app

Zoom is among the most widely used video conferencing applications in the world. Since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic, the app’s user base has grown. Users of the Zoom program on macOS have been complaining about a glitch in the Zoom Community for the past few months. Several customers reported that their Mac’s microphone remained engaged even after a Zoom conference call had ended. Zoom has released a new version of the macOS app to fix the problem.

The flaw was discovered thanks to macOS Monterey’s new privacy feature, which displays an orange icon in the menu bar when a programme is utilizing the device’s microphone. With the most recent update, the business has fixed the glitch.

“We experienced a bug relating to the Zoom client for macOS, which could show the orange indicator light continues to appear after having left a meeting, call, or webinar. This bug was addressed in the Zoom client for macOS version 5.9.3 and we recommend you update to version 5.9.3 to apply the fix,” was the company’s response in a statement.

Zoom also stated a few months ago that it will be introducing an automated update function to the platform. The functionality allows customers to immediately receive new functions and bug fixes as soon as they are provided by the firm. The corporation publishes fresh updates on a regular basis to resolve vulnerabilities and flaws, but many users fail to do so, leaving them open to cyber assaults.
