Facebook is all too eager to bring up memories from your past. Do you recall that concert you attended three years ago? That individual you used to be friends with nine years ago? That vacation snapshot you took a decade ago? You don’t have to worry; Facebook will help ensure you don’t forget.
However, it’s more crucial than ever to regulate what appears on your social media accounts, unless a possible job or date stumbles across an inappropriate photo, remark, or like.
If you’re tired of cringing each time you check into Facebook, it’s time to purge your account of outdated memes and relics from your powdered tips period in 2008. However, you are not required to delete your entire account. Here’s a more polite way to clear up your social network.
It is quick and simple to delete all your Facebook posts either at once or in a bulk with the Activity tool in the Facebook app. To go to the menu click on the three dots on your profile where you should find the icon.
Select the three-dot option to delete, conceal, or archive; dislike a comment; or remove the tag once you come across anything you want to get rid of. To delete many posts at once, check the box next to the actions, then click Archive or Trash in the top right corner.
