If you loved actor Ravi Dubey’s hosting style in Rising Star last year, here is some great news for you. The actor will soon be seen hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs and he couldn’t be more excited. Be it his interaction with the contestants or his sensitivity during eliminations, Ravi has also proved to be an excellent anchor. “I gave my all to Rising Star and intend to do the same with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs also. They are two beautiful and very different projects but need to be treated with the same sensitivity and sensibility,” says Ravi, who has been seen in the show like Jamai Raja.
While many may say that a host of a singing reality show needs to be a singer, Ravi disagrees. “I don’t agree with this at all. I feel that not just to host a show but even to have any association with music, one needs to be deeply in love with music. That’s the only pre-requisite,” he says.
Ask him what it takes to be a good host, and he says, “There is only thing that is requited – warmth. Whether it is children or adults, if you can make their joy your own and support them in their sorrow, you will be a good host. Basically, if you can be family to them, they will open their hearts to you.”
