We caught up with Harshad Chopda amidst his busy schedule and he gave IWMBuzz.com an exclusive insight on what he feels like after being back in the limelight.

Says Harshad on the reasons why he picked up Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as his comeback show, “I feel humbled, wanted and loved with the love I am getting for the show. I will try to make it simple, though it is not!! The offer came exactly at a time when I wanted to step out and work. It was a relaunch and the character seemed inviting and challenging. I have known the production house and respect its reputation. I have had a wonderful experience with Star Network. So frankly speaking, everything seemed tailor-made for me to get into the skin of Abhimanyu Birla.”

The instant success and acceptance of the new leads in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have thrilled one and all. “Numbers are a measure of the love and attention being showered. As an actor, I feel encouraged to give more of me.”

Ask him about the offscreen rapport with Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant and Harshad avers, “They both are talented and diligent. Hence the offscreen chemistry is naturally a result of their qualities. We don’t have to try hard, we gel automatically.”

Talking about the huge acceptance and connect that the Jodi of AbhiRa is getting, Harshad thanks his audience by saying, “My take on this is that the makers are doing a fabulous job. We are seriously putting in our best. I guess that it is an ideal combination of hard work and luck.”

Way to go, Harshad!!
