Abhishek Sharma, who essays the role of Devansh Singh Chauhan in Zee TV’s Vasudha wishes to live his life following the path taken by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Abhishek Sharma urges people to remember the selfless and truthful ways shown to them by the fighter. Abhishek was earlier part of Imlie. In Vasudha, he plays the lead along with Priya Thakur, who essays the titular role of Vasudha.
He says as he remembers the thoughts of the great visionary, “Mahatma Gandhi’s life was a testament to the power of perseverance, humility, and justice. He was not just a leader but a beacon of hope for an entire nation. His ability to unite people across caste, creed, and religion through love is something that resonates deeply with me. His message that ‘the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others’ is something we should all follow.”
Overlooking individual growth, Abhishek believes that we need to unite to have a collective growth. “In a world that often emphasizes individual success, Gandhi Ji reminds us of the importance of selflessness and collective growth. On this special day, let’s honour his legacy by striving to be more empathetic, truthful, and courageous in our own lives. Let’s remember that real change, as Gandhi Ji taught us, begins with the smallest acts of kindness and understanding.”
