As an actor, I love experimenting with different kinds of roles: Parineeta Borthakur

Talented veteran actor, Parineeta Borthakur, who played the on-screen mother of Harshad Chopda, in Colors show, Bepannah, is currently seen as Mridula in the ‘Gupta Brothers: Chaar Kunware from Ganga Kinaare

Talking about her new show, she shares, “I consider myself very lucky because I have done a variety of roles. This character is very different from what I have played previously in my career. As an actor, I love playing and experimenting with different kinds of roles. My character in the show is mysterious and simultaneously mischievous. Mridula’s entry is a shocker for the Gupta Brothers because they don’t want any woman in their life and I am staying in their house. She also troubles the four Gupta brothers a lot. However, despite all this, she is not a negative character

Parineeta, who is trying her hands on comedy, feels that it is difficult to make audiences laugh. “I would agree that it is easy to make people cry but making them laugh is very tough because you laugh on a punch line or it seems boring. However, our show is not like that. The episodes have come quite well

Commenting on her lockdown phase, she says, “I think I used my lockdown period productively, I did a foundation course of dermatology from a Russian university. I did it online and passed it too. I also tried to cook and have become a great chef. I tried all cuisine and mastered it in all

On an end note, “Gupta Brothers: Chaar Kunware From Ganga Kinaare’ has a different kind of storyline. I hope people watch the show because I am sure once they start watching it they won’t be able to stop. It’s very different from the rest of the daily soaps that we watch. It’s not only comedy, it’s not only drama, it’s a mixture of both and it is an exceptional blend of entertainment,” she end

Good luck!
