Actor Lovekesh Solanki who was seen in Swim Team and Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil is playing the ‘angry young man’ avatar to elan in Star Bharat’s recently launched show, Mayavi Maling, produced by Peninsula Pictures.
Seen as Ghori, the rebel in the tribal clan, Lovekesh is enjoying his time in the different avatar.
Says Lovekesh, “My character has been opening up right now. People are liking it. I am priviledged to be part of Mayavi Maling. Ghori is very wild, raw and harsh. I really enjoy playing it.”
Ask him how tough it is to bring in the high energy level is and he laughs it off saying, “Whenever I go to the set, I love meeting people, whether it is the Director, DOP or cameraman. All of them give me positive vibes. I go into my room, read the script and prepare on the voice and body language required for the scene. My character is very different from what I am in real life. I keep myself away from other people once I am into the shoot. The idea is to keep myself intense. I am an actor who will completely surrender to the Director; while I bring in 50 percent, he brings out the other 50 percent.”
“I really enjoy working with all the actors. Ankit Gupta and I have had some tough scenes to perform; we have hurt each other, we have fallen sick, but we have always helped each other out at work,” he adds.
The present plot will see Lovekesh vanishing for sometime in the track, but he will come back very soon in an interesting avatar.
On his expectations from the role, he states, “I never have any expectations. I only want to do good work and leave the rest to God.”
