Although I have played Krishna multiple times, nothing matches my fondness for Dwarkadheesh: Vishal Karwal

Vishal Karwal talks about his show Dwarkadheesh and quarantine routine.

Although, I have played Krishna multiple times but nothing comes close to Dwarkadheesh: Vishal Karwal 1

Dimpled heartthrob Vishal Karwal, who rose to fame playing Lord Krishna in two shows Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn and Naagarjun: Ek Yoddha, has a busy routine during the lockdown. He says, “I am in my hometown in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. I have set up a routine for myself. I usually start my day with yoga and meditation. I generally read a lot but I as I have left my books back in Mumbai I read e-books now. I am also listening to spiritual gurus and I play a lot of sports like badminton, table tennis.”

He further adds, “I have been doing the same things I used to do earlier but I have become more regular and disciplined about it. I also have come across a spiritual guru who has his ashram in Himachal and I think post lockdown I will be visiting him.”

So any comments on Dwarkadheesh returning to TV? “It feels really good. I am glad that Dangal channel decided to bring this show back. It is one show that is very close to my heart though I have played Krishna multiple times, nothing comes close to this one. I hope it reaches people’s hearts just like it did 8 years ago. I also make sure to watch Dwarkadheesh whenever possible. I have been receiving a lot of positive messages from my family and friends for my show.”

On a final note, he adds, “I hope everyone is staying safe and please be kind to one another and help each other.”
