Dashing and dapper Mohit Raina, the God of looks and chivalry, is set to rock TV screens as a soldier in Discovery JEET’s upcoming show 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897 (Contiloe Pictures).
As Havildar Ishar Singh, Mohit comes across a strong character with a gamut of emotions.
“I always wanted to play a soldier. I am thrilled to be a part of the project,” says Mohit to IndianWikiMedia.
So what about competition from other projects revolving on the same subject? “Well, since we are airing first, novelty factor is gone (chuckles). Having said that, comparisons are difficult as storyline might be same but storytelling would be different.”
Talking about his career graph, he mentions: “It’s been great. From trishul (Mahadev) to talwar (Ashoka) to bandook (Saragarhi). I have been fortunate with the journey.”
