Talented actress Jinal Belani, who became a household name enacting Sonu in Life OK’s sitcom Har Mard Ka Dard, believes that an actor’s life is very unstable.
“Yes, I do believe so. You have to take each day as and how it comes. You can’t keep cribbing about it. Sometimes you are depressed that you shoot continuously and crib for a holiday and sometimes you are depressed because you are sitting free without any work. I feel it is part & parcel of an actor’s life. If someone does not like you in a particular role that doesn’t mean that you are not a good actor, may be the role doesn’t suit you,” says the actress.
Jinal feels that the show has really helped her evolve as an actor.
“It was a wonderful experience working for Har Mard Ka Dard. I have learnt so much from my team. I feel in comedy genre the more you learn the more you grow as an actor. I personally love doing comedy and make people laugh through my acts. It has been a blissful journey,” shares Jinal.
The lovely lady further adds, “My co-star Faisal Rashid is an amazing actor. When you perform with such talented performers you have to up your level too. Sometimes, I had to up my gam to look amazing on screen with him. He is senior when it comes to acting. I have been blessed to be part of a wonderful show and team.”
The show has a unique concept and also a stalwart actor line up. Yet, it failed to set the ratings charts on fire and is bidding adieu within three months of its launch.
“I don’t know why the show did not work. However, people close to me have always appreciated it and loved watching it too. But I am happy that from the day we have been on screen we have given our hundred percent. We have done our job well.”
Lastly, Jinal says that she keeps a tab on shows and she likes watching them. “I don’t rigorously follow any show but I do keep a tab. I love watching Kumkum Bhagya. It is my favourite show.”
