Gaurav Khanna the talented actor is on a high with his big bash onscreen wedding with Anupamaa to kickstart in the Star Plus show Anupamaa produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut. The wedding of Anuj and Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) is all set to happen and we cannot wait to talk to the man to get some insights.
At the outset, IWMBuzz.com managed to talk to Gaurav Khanna about the much-anticipated wedding to know his thoughts.
The countdown has begun for the grand wedding of Anuj and Anupamaa. How do you personally look at this new phase in your role’s graph?
Yes, the countdown to the big wedding of Anuj and Anupamaa has begun. Everything is in the hands of the audience, it is love from them and the numbers got that play a big role in television. So more than me looking forward, the viewer is looking forward to this big development. Being part of the entertainment industry, I feel there has to be an entertainment value attached to it. We have a very able team behind us to do it. Whatever would be given to me, I will give my 100% so that my viewers enjoy this graph of mine.
Take us through the warm fan reactions that you are getting in expectation of the wedding track?
Fans are really excited about the wedding sequence coming up. Our writers are writing some wonderful scenes. We have a phenomenal cast that is again working very hard. I have heard people commenting that our scenes on the show look very much real. I feel very humbled and happy that viewers receive our episodes in such a loving manner.
This wedding will be a giant leap for a lady like Anupamaa who has seen a lot in life. As a layman watching the show, how would you want the future of Anupamaa to be?
As a viewer of the show, I will say that this is the journey of a tormented woman who eventually is on the verge of finding happiness. I don’t know what is going to happen next. Rajan Sir is a wonderful storyteller. He always has his aces up his sleeve. As a fan of the show myself, I would want the best for the character of Anupamaa. People have invested time with this character, and have grown wiser seeing her in the last few years. So it is a journey of sorrow to happiness, from reality to hope. So I feel it is going to turn out nice eventually.
Obviously, the wedding will come with a lot of twists and turns. What can viewers expect?
Yes, there will be twists and turns. I don’t know what is to come, but as I said earlier, Rajan Sir knows exactly how to handle the story plot. People are so much invested in the show, because of his story ideas. So this is a question to be answered by Rajan Sir. It gives me immense happiness to see the love coming from fans. You all have become family to me. Keep them coming.
