“I also did Saath Nibhana Saathiya. The perception of the world around you changes once you taste success. I am also getting good love of audiences from all over the world. My social media profile had been growing ever since,” he adds with a smile.
“I also was one of the leads in the recent Zee5 web series, Love Aaj Kal. My character made his entry in the second season and was there till the final 4th avatar.”
Talking about his character in Naati, Puneett says, “It is fun to play various shades, father, friend and lover in the same vein. Plus, being a mature guy, Arjun knows how to handle evolving complications. I am having great on and off-screen equation with my co-star Riya Shukla.”
Shifting gears to the on-going Coronavirus shooting lockdown, he says, “We might have an episode bank of a week, so beyond that reruns may have to be the order of the day. Even if work resumes on the 1st April, we will take at least four or five more days to start airing fresh episodes as the production house (Bodhi Tree), and channel team also need to edit the tapes sent in.”
So how are you spending the compulsory off days?
“Well I might plan a bike trip back home (Madhya Pradesh.)”
