Child actor Aria Sakariya who has enthralled one and all with her presence in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, will now test her comic skills with Sony SAB’s new show Tenali Rama which launches today, 16 December. The show which brings back actor Krishna Bharadwaj as Tenali Rama will see child actors Aria Sakariya, Balika Vadhu 2 fame Shreya Patel, Anupamaa fame Trishan Shah, and Ahnaf playing the roles of the ‘Char Chatur’ in the team of Tenali Rama.
We at IWMBuzz.com got in touch with Aria on her role.
Aria is excited to bond with the other child actors on the show and says, “Working with Shreya Didi, Trishan and Ahnaf is so much fun. We bond really well and are truly the Char Chatur of Tenali Rama. Shreya Didi is like my elder sister now.”
Aria finds it an immense honour working with the seasoned actor Pankaj Berry. She avers, “My favourite person on the set of Tenali Rama Is Pankaj Berry Sir who plays the role of Tathacharya. We share a very amazing bond.”
Talking about her own character of Lacchamma in the show, Aria states, “The role of Lacchamma is a very good opportunity for me to showcase my prowess as an actor. I have always wanted to test my rooting in comedy. And it has been my desire to be part of a comedy show which has an intelligent concept. Lacchamma is naughty, yet emotional. She is a person who is scared of insects and darkness. This will be very interesting for the audience to watch. I will give my best as Lachamma and entertain the audience.”
On the show and working with Krishna Bharadwaj, Aria avers, “I am a huge fan of the first season of Tenali Rama. I am a big fan of Krishna Sir’s acting. He is a gem of a person. I am learning so much from him during our shoot. He creates magic with his acting, and when we are not shooting, we are having fun together.”
