Tanvi Thakkar is a bit disappointed with the fact that her character graph (Ragbhir’s elder sister in law) in Colors show Bepanah Pyaar is yet to perk up. It is not clear yet whether Tina is positive or negative.

“It has been a while, so I myself am a bit concerned. Accordingly, I have spoken to the creative team, which has asked me to wait. The point is that with our story being a thriller, layers can unravel only over time.”

“Date usage is not an issue. I clocked 20 odd days in June. This month it is a bit less, with story emphasis shifting somewhere else. But an actor always wants to be part of the action and not just be on the side-lines,” says Tanvi, who first gained name and fame courtesy Miley Jab Hum Tum and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant.

Point out about speculation on the show’s future, given low ratings, and she says, “I don’t think we are going anywhere. Remember, this is an Ekta Kapoor show. And as far as Bigg Boss taking our 10 pm time slot, I think we will simply be moved to another time slot.” Bepanah Pyaar frontlines Pearl V Puri and Ishita Dutta.

“The supernatural-dotted plot has lots of potential, what really happened to Bani (Aparna Dixit)? Being curious, we actors keep asking our creative to least keep us in the loop, but are told that only madam (Ekta) knows the real deal.” For the moment, Tanvi can’t do anything else as she is contractually bound to Balaji Telefilms. “So I am hoping that my character gets her place under the sun.” Her last show was Meri Hanikarak Biwi.

“Also, might be that till then, Balaji might accommodate me on another show (TV or web), as they often do with their actors.”
