Talented actor Shresth Kumar who essays the role of Neeraj Singh, the step-brother of Star Bharat’s Kaal Bhairav- Ek Naya Rahasya in RG Pictures’ show is having a jolly time.
Says Shresth who has been part of shows Bairi Piya, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Ek Boond Ishq, Maharakshak Devi, Mere Angne Mein, Suryaputra Karn, Udaan etc,” I am really enjoying my stint in Kaal Bhairav. Neeraj is negative and is a typical rascal. He also flirts with Bhairavi (Barkha Bisht), and with his mother (Suwati Anand), he has a comic shade to portray. In fact, viewers love the scenes between the mother and son. We have been getting amazing responses from fans.”
The best part about the character according to Shresth is the unpredictability factor in his character. “I have gotten messages that the moment Neeraj comes on screen, there is a kind of excitement amongst viewers as they get keen to know what he wants to do now.”
On his preparation for the role, Shresth states, “I have played well with my dialogue delivery. I have put in few mannerisms and stylization too. As an actor, I have worked hard to get this on-screen. There are various shades, as I said, in the character and I love playing each of them.”
“The writers have shown huge variation in the character. Even though he is shown negative, he is not doing it with a stern and negative face and body language. I like this aspect about the character,” he further adds.
Shresth looks forward to a good run in the character for Kaal Bhairav – Ek Naya Rahasya.
