Actor Saanand Verma is proud to be part of Edit II’s highly successful show, Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai for &TV.
Says Saanand who is popularly known as Saxenaji in the show, “The journey of Bhabhiji has been mind-blowing. It is in fact my life’s most important work for me. This show got me recognition and people love my character a lot. I am very much connected to the show, the ambience and the role. I feel lucky to be part of it.”
The character of Saxenaji has the very-much loved ‘taqiya kalam’ – I like it in the show and Saanand is happy to share interesting memories with fans involving this favourite line of his. “I get taken aback when I get told by my fans that these days, kids don’t cry after being shouted at. Instead, they laugh and say – I like it. Also, in schools even the teachers use the favourite line whenever a kid makes a mistake (laughs). So the line of mine has spread a positive message across. I am happy that God has given me the opportunity to make people happy.”
Talking about the similarities between himself and his character, he states, “I have a lot of similarities with my character. I never feel sad for anything. I have seen life’s ups and downs, and believe that whatever happens has to happen. I have also done many silly things in life (smiles).”
Saanand was last seen in Ajay Devgn’s movie Raid and is also shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Chhuriyaan. He will also be seen in ALTBalaji’s upcoming web-series, Apharan.
