Bharti Singh is from a middle-class family with three brothers and sisters, which few people are aware of. Bharti’s mother used to work in a factory before she became a celebrity. The sound of those machines still haunts the ace comic, who recalled some horrible childhood recollections.
Her mother used to work at a factory and would finish the unfinished job at home, she had previously said. Bharti said that she grew up hearing the noises of a sewing machine all day and that it still bothers her. ‘I lost my father at the age of two; I don’t have any memories with him,’ the actress had previously told Dainik Bhaskar of her troubles.
“My mother did not remarry; rather, she chose to fight for us. My mother and older siblings spent most of my childhood in poverty, working day and night to create a safe home and enough food on the table. In fact, we’ve both slept with half-empty stomachs.”
