A life coach and an author, Arfeen Khan has worked closely with many Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan. Arfeen who is a mind coach, has worn many hats in his career. He is now making heads roll in Colors’ reality show Bigg Boss in its 18th edition which started yesterday (6 October). He gets into the Bigg Boss house with the utmost confidence in handling any situation.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Arfeen Khan got into an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, where he discussed how he would be playing the game with his wife Sara Arfeen Khan. Arfeen and Sara Arfeen are the only couple entering the Bigg Boss house in the starting line-up of contestants in Bigg Boss 18.
He said, “I am excited to get into the Bigg Boss house. It is going to be an unknown territory for sure.”
We asked him whether Sara and he find themselves lucky to have each other’s company in the house, and he called this situation as “double trouble”. He further said, “It can be difficult, as I cannot be focussing on only one outcome and need to be thinking about her too, and vice versa. I don’t think it is a strength for the both of us.”
Having said this, Arfeen called his wife Sara to be “very strong”. He said, “I am not too worried about Sara. But if a person is not strong, it will be tough. We are going to play the game individually for sure, with some support. But we can’t actually plan anything, because it is going to be so unpredictable in there.”
Talking about his forte as an individual, Arfeen told us, “I am very outspoken, blunt. I don’t care about looking good, I like to be honest. Honesty is a very powerful tool that can be intimidating.”
When asked about the kind of duties he would love to perform in the house, Arfeen went on to say, “I would love to be the Captain. I am not scared of any duty. If someone tells me to clean the toilet, I will do it. I don’t have any issue with any duty. I have learnt how to cook, I cook really well. But I will not tell them that (laughs).”
“I have done something in the past where I have taken a plastic sheet, a piece of string, a knife, some canned food and I have stayed in the jungle for 20 days. I have survived. That is much easier when it comes to surviving with 19 other people inside a room,” he added.
Talking about himself, he said, “I am a mind coach and not a fitness coach. I know nothing about fitness. I hope people become strong in their brains. I know how to program people’s heads. I know how to make people do things. Mine is more of the mental strength.”
Being the life coach of popular Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, Arfeen is happy to have got his association. Talking about it, he said, “My journey with Hrithik is very simple. I was 20 kilos overweight when I met him. The first question he asked me was that you are such a good mind coach, but why are you fat? He gave me a plan, and I lost weight. We became friends. Hrithik Roshan has no problems, he is a very good human being.”
We termed the bond of Hrithik and Arfeen to be ‘inspirational’ to each other, to which Arfeen explained, “It is not inspiration. It is more like being driven. I don’t believe in positive thinking, motivation etc. It is all garbage.”
Adding more to what he said, Arfeen averred, “I motivate myself by telling the truth. I show the mirror to people.”
We asked him what could put him off easily, and he mentioned, “What can put me off is betrayal and lies. I hate liars. Dealing with liars makes me mental.
Speaking about his biggest goal to be achieved in Bigg Boss, Arfeen stated, “I have come to the Bigg Boss house not for fame and money. I know that the junta faces serious problems in their own lives. I want to show people that anyone can get into chaos and come out victorious. Hopefully, they will see that and will be driven to do that.”
Lastly, when we asked him whether we would see him healing minds inside the house, he was quick to say, “I don’t heal minds, I crack minds.”
Best of luck in the Bigg Boss house, Arfeen!!
