The biggest challenge for any anchor is to be spontaneous, energetic, and witty: Anusha Mishra

There is good news for Anusha Mishra (Tera Kya Hoga Alia) fans. If you are missing her antics, you can see her in a new biweekly home shot Sony Sab TV show, Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein.

“We have wrapped up the first episode of Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein which be telecast from Monday 18th May. Co-host Balraj Syal and I will be connecting video calls with all SAB TV actors (Siddharth Nigam, and Gulki Joshi ) for fun conversation. It will be like a giant screen with eight windows. “Today, technology has made distances redundant; we are using this new freedom to overcome stay at home restrictions. It is also a brilliant way to keep the fans connected with their fav characters, given that no fresh shoots are happening. The written lines further ensure that fans know the actor behind the character in their respective personal dens.”

Going on Anusha adds “The biggest challenge for any anchor is to be spontaneous, energetic, and witty. I have anchored several events back in college. Coming to this show, the tough part was to balance out the non-stop repartee and one-liner as all our artists have funny bones. Sharing anchoring duties with comedy artist of note Balraj was fun.”

Talking about her lockdown days, she says, “I am catching up on beauty sleep, getting up late, crashing late, cooking and yes checking out latest movies and series. I am also sprucing up my Spanish and geography.”

When can regular shoots resume? “Considering the rising number of COVID cases in hotspot Mumbai, not before September. It is a huge gap, but then safety always comes first. Luckily SAB TV has a few new series in the pipeline and existing ones have great storyboards, so I am sure audiences will stay hooked on,” she ends.
