Arshiya Mukherjee is a new talent in tinsel town. She is a tough competition for other child wonders on Indian television. The adorable doll, who is winning millions of hearts as the naughty ghost Bhootu on Zee TV’s Bhootu, is indeed a very smart and talented child.
“I am really enjoying the new experience. I have done the same show in Bengal but here the storyline is really different. With new tracks coming in, I don’t get bored,” she says.
Talking about her Mumbai experience, she shares, “Mumbai is a beautiful place but most of my time is spent in the studio room with my partner in crime Gopal aka Viraj bhaiya. In my free time, I play with him. Whenever I get time from my shoot schedule I go to a mall with my parents. Although, Mumbai is famous for its special snacks but I don’t like anything. I don’t like any kind of street food of Mumbai. I miss Bengal and its food. I just eat maa ke haath ka khana here.”
Do you like wearing the same dress all day? “I hate wearing the same dress, it is boring. I wish to wear different clothes. I love to get ready and do make-up but I don’t get to do that too. When Sana (Amin Sheikh) didi was on set, I used her make-up.”
When we ask does she miss her school, she reveals, “I shifted to Mumbai. I go to school once in a week. My teachers are very helpful. I joined the school midway so I did not have too many friends but now, they know that I am part of Bhootu so they all speak to me and are my friends.”
