Being bullied is an extremely traumatic experience for any child. It can shatter their self-esteem, instill fear, and make their lives hell. Nevertheless, some individuals have bravely faced such adversities during their formative years and are now standing up to their bullies.

One such individual is Tarun Khanna, who currently portrays Lord Shiva’s character on Dangal TV’s Devi Adi Parashakti. It’s not widely known, but Tarun was a bullying victim when he was younger. However, he didn’t let this experience break him. Instead, he emerged stronger and reached great heights in his career.

The actor says, “I had to face a lot of bullying as a child. While growing up, I was very weak and always mocked by my peers for falling ill frequently. However, this never stopped me from focusing on the problem I had. I decided to become fit and stronger. I made a resolution that I will work hard & value my physical & mental fitness.”

Tarun has been portraying the character of Lord Shiva on television over seven times, earning him the nickname “television’s Lord Shiva.”.

The actor says, “Playing Lord Shiva requires adequate physique and mental firmness. One needs to be disciplined & poised in real life to get into the skin of Mahadev. Nothing should affect my positivity, and I achieved this through yoga and just 30-45 minutes of exercising every day. I can, in fact, say that playing such a divine character has always helped me.”

Tarun’s success story is a testament to the fact that nothing can prevent a person from reaching their full potential and becoming the amazing individual they were meant to be.
