TV actress IWMBuzz and her handsome husband, Rohit Reddy make for one of the hottest couple in the Indian telly world. Though they come from two different professions and backgrounds, Sindhi girl Anita being an actor and Telugu guy Rohit, a Goa-based businessman, that did not stop them from having their fairytale love story.
Love at first sight
Rohit and Anita used to attend the same gym where he first spotted her and was instantly attracted to the gorgeous actress. You could say it was love at first sight for Rohit. Later, they met again when Rohit saw Anita standing outside a pub and decided to approach her.
Rohit decided to use a corny pick-up line to impress Anita but only managed to startle her. But that did not discourage Rohit and he tried to find a way to keep in contact by exchanging messages via Facebook. Thank God for social media!
All this while, Rohit had absolutely no idea Anita was a television star which she refuses to believe till this date.
A while after their pub meet, they met again through a common friend and Anita found Rohit to be a sweet gentleman. His fit physique and sweet dimpled smile only added to his charming nature.
Getting together
A series of dates ensued between the couple when they realized there was more to it than just mutual affection. A few dates was all it took for them to know they were it for each other.
The deciding point for Anita as she recalls was, “I used to love drinking in my younger days. This one night I went overboard and got into a fight with Rohit. It was all my mistake. Woke up the next day, apologised to him saying ‘I’m sorry Rohit I’ll give up drinking if you want’. He replied saying, ‘No you don’t have to give up on anything for me. Just try staying in control. You are a public figure, you have to be careful,’ – and that was the moment I knew he’s my man! Who loves me for ME; with all the flaws? He didn’t want me to change a thing for him. It’s been 6 years and the only change in me is that I’m a better, a more positive person. Not only that, I’m more successful than I used to be!”
That sealed the deal for her and for them!
Wedding bells
Being a true gentleman, Rohit first decided to seek the blessings of Anita’s family and approached her mother to ask for Anita’s hand in marriage.
When all was said and done, Anita and Rohit finally tied the knot in true Telugu-Sindhi style which took place in Goa in October 2013. It was a typical big, fat Indian shaadi with all the usual festivites involved.
Anita and Rohit are absolute couple goals. More than being life partners, they are each other’s best friends and support systems. We wish a long and happy married life for this adorable duo!
