What would you like to say about the Dramality concept of the show which is completely new for India Television?

The show is a beautiful mixture of drama and reality and fiction & non-fiction. We are super happy to be a part of something like this which has never been a part of Television before. In all the reality series, you can always see what’s going on stage but this is the first time where you can actually follow their journey. My character Radhika gets a lot of fame in the first half but eventually there’s a lot of pressure on her and she goes through all the struggle. It’s really not easy to maintain that fame once you get it. My character Radhika goes through a lot of conditioning and exploring. At the same time, she’s also breaking through the mental filters that she already had. It’s a beautiful journey.

Tell us a bit about your preparation for the show.

Well, I am a Kathak dancer and an Indian contemporary dancer since my childhood. So, my preparation for the second round was a task for sure since I had to perform Bollywood. And having been into classical dancing since childhood, no matter how much of a western dance I try to perform, there will always be a classical touch and flair to it.. Having said that, my choreographers have always been very kind to me and I have always told them to correct me wherever I go wrong because I want to do a good job. I performed again and again and showed it to them. So yeah, I have prepared a lot.

Tell us a bit about your bonding and backstage fun with your co-actors on the sets.

Wow. Well, Sheezan who’s playing Arjun, Meenu who’s playing Divya and Lavish who’s playing TJ. These 3 people have like become my best of friends and we have so much fun on sets literally. And not just on sets, even after set, we meet and have fun and love each other’s company. We do our reading sessions together and it’s so much fun. Just like family. And with the family members as well, it’s like real family and I refer to them as Aai, Baba and Chachi only. I have learnt so much from them and they also guide me in how I can probably perform a scene better etc. So, I would say that the bonding is different and special in a unique way with everyone and I simply love it.
