For actor, international dancer and host Shantanu Maheshwari, the festival of Christmas back in his childhood days was all about Santa Claus, Christmas trees, gifts, and Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer!

Always one who would eagerly await the month of December to bring in the festivities of Christmas, Shantanu would always help his mother decorate a Christmas tree at home, as well as hang out his stockings for Santa to put in gifts for his brother and himself!

Speaking about some of his fondest Christmas memories from his childhood days, Shantanu shares, “As a child, Christmas was one festival I would eagerly look forward to! My mother would always bring home a Christmas tree back then, which my brother and I would eagerly and very happily help her decorate! It was one of our favourite Christmas activities to do during the festival! Other than that, we would hang out our stockings on the tree on Christmas eve, waiting for Santa to put in his gifts for us! Which of course were given by our parents, which we understood as we grew older. My mother would also explain to us the essence and importance of Christmas and why it was celebrated, which in turn became our family bonding time during the festival.”
