Aditi Rawat, who made her maiden lead role debut in &TV show Main Bhi Ardhangini, initially denied the part.

She shares in an exclusive chat with IWMBuzz, “I did not want to do the show when it was offered to me initially as it was supposed to get shot in Jaipur. I wanted to be in Mumbai. However, one of my friends told me to take it in consideration. Later, I agreed to do the show.”

Aditi further adds, “I was excited as well as nervous as it’s my first show as a lead. I was scared because it is a huge responsibility to handle a show on your shoulder as a lead. There is a lot of pressure too. However, I have learnt a lot during the entire process so far. I would say that this show is a stepping stone my career.”

Talking about her co-stars, she shares, “I am working with some great actors like Avinash Sachdev and Deepshikha Nagpal, who have been in the industry for a very long time now. I met Avinash at the first meeting of the show and he introduced himself. However, I knew him when he was in Choti Bahu. He is a gem of a person and a very hard-working actor. Deepshikha is also a different personality unlike her on-screen character. She is very cool.”

When we ask does she believe in supernatural powers, she says, “I believe in positive and negative energy or vibes.”
