Doing Crime Patrol is not everybody’s cup of tea: Maleeka R Ghai

Maleeka R Ghai shares her experience shooting for Crime Patrol.

Maleeka R Ghai who is mostly known for varied roles in Saraswatichandra, Meri Desh Ki Beti Nandini, Chandrakanta etc has now taken up the aggressive role of a cop in Sony TV’s Crime Patrol.

She says, “I am a very hungry actor. I love to experiment with varied characters. I will also want to opt for reality shows.”

“My character in Crime Patrol is called Kuljeet Singh Randhawa, part of the Punjab police. There is a double murder case that happens in the area. The Director of the story Shailendra Singh Tomar, one of the pioneers of the show was so very comfortable to work with. He is so much into the detailing; it was a wonderful experience working with him. He helped me to give my best,” he adds.

“Doing Crime Patrol is not everybody’s cup of tea. There is lot of pressure as we do 30- 35 scenes that we do in one shift. Dialogues are very pacey, performance has to be natural. It is indeed a challenge for an actor to prove potential in Crime Patrol. I loved being part of it. I look forward to this story,” states, Maleeka.

Maleeka is versatile enough and has performed on genres which are emotional, comic, strong and even negative.

The episode of Crime Patrol featuring Maleeka will air tonight on Crime Patrol – Dial 100.
