Did You Know? Hina Khan Was Among The Top 50 On THIS List!

Here are lesser-known facts about the stunning Hina Khan

Leaving a famous program is one of the most difficult decisions a television performer can make, but Hina Khan took the jump (she left ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ after eight years as a lead) and look where she is now.

Her appearances on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ provided viewers a glimpse into her true self and inspired them to look past her attractiveness. She is now not just one of the most popular small-screen celebrities on social media, but also one of the most admired fashionistas.

Hina Khan was born in the Jammu and Kashmir city of Srinagar. She eventually traveled to Delhi to pursue further education. Hina graduated from the CCA School of Management in Gurgaon, Delhi, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2009.

Hina aspired to be a journalist and had never considered acting. Hina moved to Mumbai after finishing her education and joined an air-hostessing course. Unfortunately, she caught malaria and was unable to attend the training academy.

She just joined her pals to the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ auditions one day. She had no intention of becoming an actress, but she received a call from the producer the next day, much to her surprise. She received word that she had been cast as the main character. She accepted it without hesitation, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Hina Khan adores Mughlai cuisine, and her favorite restaurant is Veda in New Delhi’s Connaught Place.

Hina was selected to Eastern Eye’s Top 50 Attractive Asian Women List for two years in a row, in 2013 and 2014. She also received the DadaSaheb Phalke Award for Best Actress in a Popular Film in 2014.
