Rachi Sharma who essays the lead role of Purvi in Zee TV’s popular and long-running show Kumkum Bhagya is ecstatic about the festive ambience of Diwali setting in. Rachi is seen in the show along with Abrar Qazi. The lead couple is loved and appreciated for their onscreen chemistry. Rachi has pleasant memories of the festival from her childhood and growing up days, which was very different from what is observed today. Being in Mumbai now, she enjoys the festival with her close friends.

She says, “Diwali is the festival of lights, happiness, and positivity. I think I have been very fortunate as I have had the opportunity to experience two starkly different kinds of Diwali. I remember I used to start saving my pocket money weeks before Diwali during my childhood days in Indore to buy crackers. We used to have lots of fun, eating delicacies cooked by my mother.”

Talking about the different celebrations in Mumbai, Rachi avers, “In Mumbai too, I love celebrating Diwali with my close friends, meeting them, and playing games. I think the festive season gives us an opportunity to spend an ample amount of time with our loved ones, so we should make the most of it. And I would like to tell all please don’t burst crackers, and be mindful of the street animals. Wish you all a very Happy Diwali.”

Happy Diwali to all!!
