#Diwali2024: Lighting up diyas around the house bring a sense of peace and positivity: Bhaweeka Chaudhary 924072

Actress Bhaweeka Chaudhary, who is part of the cast of the Sony SAB show Badall Pe Paon Hai, shares that this Diwali holds extra significance for her. She reflects on the past year and the lessons it has brought.

“This year, Diwali feels even more special because I have come to understand the importance of cherishing the little things—whether it’s spending quality time with family, slowing down to appreciate life, or simply celebrating health and happiness. Amid the busyness of everyday life, it’s wonderful to have a festival that allows us to refocus on what truly matters. I feel that this year, Diwali will be a more intimate and meaningful celebration, filled with gratitude and joy,” she says.

Recalling her cherished memories of the festival, she adds, “One of the memories I hold dear is visiting relatives during Diwali, exchanging sweets and gifts, and lighting diyas together. I always looked forward to creating rangolis with my siblings and cousins—it was a tradition we never missed. The excitement of waking up early, putting on new clothes, and gathering for prayers with the entire family is something I will always treasure.”

As for this year’s celebrations, she says, “For Diwali this year, I am excited to wear something elegant and traditional. I love pastels these days, so I am thinking of a beautiful suit that makes me feel festive and radiant. Wearing traditional attire always brings that extra charm, especially at a festival as special as Diwali.”

She adds, “Shooting Diwali sequences is always a fun and nostalgic experience. It feels like celebrating Diwali early with my extended family on set. We often do late-night outdoor shoots for Diwali scenes. What I love most about Diwali is the warmth and togetherness—being with loved ones, sharing laughter, and creating memories. And, of course, I love the diyas. Lighting them up around the house brings such a sense of peace and positivity; it feels truly magical.”
