I don’t take up shows on basis of screen time: Manish Goplani

Handsome hunk Manish Goplani, who rose to fame with Colors’ Thapki Pyar Ki, will be back in action as Bhim Singh Bhullar in Zee TV’s latest offering Detective Didi.

Manish will play a jolly cop from the Delhi crime branch who investigates staying well within the rule book.

Although the show focuses on detective Bunty Sharma (played by Sonia Balani), Manish doesn’t feel being sidelined in the series.

He shares, “I never take a show on the amount of footage or screen presence I am going to have. If I have a cameo entry too, I believe I should do full justice to it. I give it my hundred percent, so that people can remember all their life. It should be registered in their mind.”

He further adds, “People who know me well are aware that I never wanted to become an actor. I did theatre and started generating interest towards it. Later, I auditioned and was called from Mumbai for Thapki. I never had a struggle period, hence it was an easy journey. I would only thank my destiny for it.”

Manish, who plays the role of a police officer, says he would like to eradicate crime from India. “I would especially eliminate crimes against women and children. And we would also be spreading the same message through our show.”

Good luck, Manish!
