TV actress Purvi Mundada last seen in Star Plus show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji is looking forward to her new yet-untitled Zee5 short rom-com short.“I am the lead in along with Subodh Bhave. We have finished, shooting dubbing is left.”
This is her second digital tryst, prior she had featured in Vikram Bhatt web series Faceless (lead) currently streaming on Jio.
Turning her attention to show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji stint, Purvi who is also a singer and lyricist, had no problem with its short run (She had entered as after Jasmin Bhasin quit). “We always knew that it would be a limited outing. I enjoyed getting to essay a juicy character (Harleen) with a lot of variations and challenges. I have always wanted to work with Four Lions (makers). I also had a blast on set with my co-stars Ansh Bagri and Donal Bisht.”
Anything else in the pipeline?“ No, I had been sounded out for a couple of projects, but unfortunately, they did not work out. As for TV, I will only sign up for something very meaty .”
In closing, when asked about rumours linking her to fellow TV actor Randeep Rai (Yeh Un Dinon Ki BaatHai fame), she quipped, “Being a private person, I would not want to comment on anything which leads to unnecessary speculation. All I will say is that we are excellent friends.”
