Actress Neha Rana who plays the lead role of Megha in the Colors show Megha Barsenge produced by Saurabh Tewari’s Parin Multimedia, is enjoying shooting in the outdoor locales of Nainital and Bhimtaal for their major sequences involving the prime characters of Arjun, Megha and Manoj.
Neha is having a whale of a time, enjoying pleasant weather. “We are staying at a secluded resort and shooting in the intense jungle. The best part is that we are getting to have the best of food. The flowers around us are pretty to watch. As of now, we are relishing the good veggies and fruits made available to us.”
Ask her whether she does not fear any animal encounters in the secluded land, and she says, “We have heard that there are leopards around the place. But we have not come across any as of now. I will be glad if I get a chance to see a few of them before we return (smiles).”
Neha who is shooting with a baby bump says that the shoot process has been challenging, but it has been a fun ride too. “The goal is to stay positive and keep the energy up. It has not been an easy ride with the baby bump, wearing heavy costumes (as seen in the Godhbaraai sequence) and running around in the jungles. But all has been a team effort and we are enjoying shooting for this track.”
Ask her about the unit’s free time activity in the isolated place of stay, and Neha says, “When we are not shooting, we are engaged in deep conversations about the story, about the place and on our shoot process. We also indulge in talking with the local people. It is a happy feeling to know that our show is being watched by the people out here.”
Talking us through the big high point in the show’s narrative, Neha opines, “Arjun is with Megha, in her crucial time now. Megha is fighting not only to save herself but also for the life of her unborn child. Every challenge makes the mother within her stronger and she looks for hope and positivity during this tough phase.”
On what the viewers can expect, Neha says, “Well, the culmination of his track will be huge. It will be a nail-biting track for the audience to see whether Arjun is successful in saving Megha and his child from this no man’s land. I personally hope and pray that the three of them get out of this danger safely.”
For the uninitiated, Megha Barsenge will air at the 6.30 pm slot on Colors from 28 April.
Best of luck!!
