Young actor Zohaib Siddiqui, who is currently portraying the character of Rahu in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s  successful show Karamphal Daata Shani, is enjoying his work and feels everyday is a learning experience for him.

Zohaib is a Mechanical Engineer and also worked in a corporate company for a year. After that he decided to start his career in acting. He says, “My father is a scientist and am a mechanical engineer from Pune university. I always had an inclination towards acting and with that dream I came to Mumbai and my first show was CID.”

Post CID he has worked in shows like Sadda Haq, Shapath, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. With Swastik Productions he has done a cameo in Suryaputra Karn as Kichak. How much can he relate to Rahu? “After I started working in the show I got to know a lot about destiny, Rahu and Shani. Honestly this show made me think a lot.”

Speaking on his co stars in the show Zohaib says, “With Kunal Bakshi we have done a show before. We shared screen in Swastik’s Suryaputra Karn as well. Kartikey is a wonder child, he is an experienced actor and at this age he comes across as a very confident and comfortable actor. With Salil Ankola this is my first show and I used to watch his matches when he used to play cricket. I have never thought that one day I will share screen with him. I wish to seek advice from him regarding fitness as he is a very fit guy.”

Zohaib wears lenses in the show and he has worked a bit on the look to convince audience. He adds, “Siddharth Kumar Tewary and I sat together and asked for my inputs and also he gave a lot of pointers and the final look is a culmination of all the inputs shared by him and my inputs.”

Speaking on his work experience so far Zohaib says, “Everyday is a learning experience on the set of Karmphal Daata Shani and since day one I have become more comfortable.”
