Ekta Kaul is married to the web star Sumeet Vyas, and the two of them are spending quality time together now, keeping their spirits high and positive.
Ekta Kaul who is due for her delivery in June this year talks exclusively to IWMBuzz.com on her thoughts and on her pregnancy.

Ekta, congrats to you for the blissful motherhood ahead. How is the feeling now in the mother-to-be?
Thank you so much. I don’t know how to describe my feelings right now because it’s very different and very new. But I just feel pleasant all the time. And I am extremely excited about this new phase.
How have you evolved as a woman during this phase of life?
I think I have become little more patient and I am more than “me” now. A mother!!
Pregnancy during the tough lockdown woes, how has Sumeet Vyas been your strong support?
Sumeet has been a pillar. He’s taking care of everything that’s related to me and my health. From food to massages to walks to medicines and doctor’s appointment, he’s with me.
Your parents are not with you in this hour of need. How are you coping with this?
Frankly, it was extremely difficult to accept initially, mainly for emotional reasons. I am very very very close to my family and they are my pillar of strength and for every little occasion, they have been around. And this is for the first time that they are not around.
But since we can’t do anything about it, I have kind of accepted this now and I am doing my bit to be okay with a hope that I and my baby get to see them soon.
Acting has taken a back step after your marriage and now with you all set to turn mother. Missing the good old days before the camera?
Yes, I do miss working but it was a conscious decision. I wanted to take a break after getting married and do other things that I missed doing while I was working. So ya, once I feel the time is right, I will bounce back.

Which has been your best moment in these 9 months of pregnancy?
A lot of them. My first scan where I saw the baby on the screen. And when I felt the baby moving! Also once I was trying to have a conversation with the little peanut and there were constant reactions. And many more.
What is the best in Sumeet during this phase that has come out?
Sumeet has always been a workaholic and a little detached. But after this phase, he’s become more sensitive and caring and has started prioritising things around us.
