Talented actor Chetan Hansraj, who has impressed us with his grey-shaded characters in shows like Jodha Akbar, Chandra Nandni, Naagin 3, is currently seen as Balwant Tyagi in Star Bharat’s Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2. Talking about his new project, Chetan says, “I was thrilled by the storyline of the show and my character. When the story was narrated to me, I was immediately attracted to it. As Pratigya season 1 was super hit, there is pressure on our shoulders to make this season a hit. There is a relatable factor and audiences will relate to the story and characters of the show so that makes it amazing for the viewers to watch.”
What preparation you did for the role? He adds, “The main preparation was to get the Haryanvi accent right. We had a dialogue coach who used to send me the recordings of my lines in Haryanvi style for initial days and that is how I got a good grasp on the language eventually.”
Commenting on his working experience with lead actors Arhaan Behll and Pooja Gor, he shares, “I did a couple of scene with them and they are very honest actors. We had an outdoor shoot where we bonded well. Though they all were part of the previous season and I was new, they all treated me like a member of the team.”
Chetan, who was earlier seen as Brahmarakshas, shares a special message for his fans and mentions, “My Brahmarakshas fans have been missing Vardhaan. I really loved the character too. I am an actor and this is my job to choose varied roles and entertain my audiences. This is why I love my profession as I get to portray such amazing characters. I feel blessed that good quality roles are coming to me. I am grateful to God and my fans.”
