Actress and Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde, who is currently seen in comedy show Gangs Of Filmistan, with Sunil Grover, might soon be quitting the show.
As per reports in media, she doesn’t seem happy with the show’s format. She said in a recent interview that she had agreed to do the show on one condition that it would mean a strong comeback for her. However, she feels her presence is not impactful enough.
On the other hand, producer Preeti Simoes has lashed out at Shilpa and refuted all allegations.
When asked about producer Preeti Simoes’s allegations, Shilpa Shinde says to IWMBuzz.com, “The proof of the pudding is always in the eating. The first episode now out on Hotstar (telecast on Star Bharat later) clearly shows that Gangs of Filmistan is nothing but a total Sunil Grover effort.”
Adding further the former Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai lead says, “If the makers had so much confidence in their product, would they have the gumption to rechristen the show as The Sunil Grover show and slot it as a weekender, and let it compete with The Kapil Sharma Show on pure merit.”
Now, only time will tell if the actress rethinks her decision of continuing the show or quits it.
Gangs Of Filmistan also stars Siddharth Sagar, Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhosale, Paritosh Tripathi, Upasana Singh and Jatin Suri in pivotal roles. Sunil plays a gangster who wants to be entertained.
