Lord Ganesha is considered an icon of wisdom and a symbol of prosperity in the Indian culture. Every year in August or September, Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Vinayak Chaturthi is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha. Almost all of the TV actors are seen celebrating the festival. The popular veteran actress, Bharati Achrekar, who essays the character of Radhika Wagle in Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya, is also celebrating it with pomp and grandeur.
Sharing her plans with IWMBuzz.com, Bharati said, “A very happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all! Lord Ganesha is the harbinger of all good things- peace, prosperity, progress, happiness, and health. This Ganesh Chaturthi I earnestly pray for the good health of all my loved ones. The past year has been tough on us, and I hope we never have to ever face anything like that in future.”
She further added, “Be it preparing and gorging on delicious modaks or celebrating the blessed day with my family, Ganesh Chaturthi has always held a special place in my life. It takes me back to my childhood days of performing Ganpati visarjan and looking forward to new beginnings. Here’s to another auspicious chapter of our lives. Ganapati Bappa Morya!”
